21 April, 2010, 22:59

A fighter against pedophilia, suspected in two murders and popularized by comic strips in the teenage magazine Drasus Kedis, has been found dead, according to the Delfi.lt news site.

The body and a gun were discovered by volunteers. He has reportedly been identified by friends and police also confirmed that this is the body of the suspect.

Kedis was suspected in killing his friend Violetta Narusyavichene and local judge Yonas Furmanavichus in October 2009. Before the murders he had accused the victims of molesting his five-year-old daughter.

He became a national hero and a Lithuanian teenage magazine later published a comic strip about him in November 2009.
