Violence has continued to grow in Iraq, with the body count reaching over a hundred. 2009 has seen a rise in suicide bombings and roadside explosions, resulting in many civilian deaths.
Lori Harfenist, a web journalist and host of “The Resident,” has been asking people on the streets of New York what they think of the bloody situation in Iraq.
Judging by the recent violence, the conditions in Iraq seem to have returned to what they were at the beginning of the war. With so much time, money and human effort being expended in the war, is there really any progress being made?
