Ekaterina Kuznetsova, from the Center for Post-Industrial Studies, reiterates that there are still some unsolved issues between Russia and NATO.

“If we look at the list of disagreements between NATO and Russia, we’ll see, first of all, the recent 2008 war in South Ossetia, in Georgia, and notably the results of this war,” Kuznetsova told RT. “Then, the second hottest topic will be, of course, the possible membership in NATO of Georgia and, what is far more important for Russia, of Ukraine. Then we’ll see of course the problem of the American anti-missile defense basis in Poland and in the Czech Republic, and then are the international issues like Iran.”
