El Tianguis Cultural del Chopo será sede de uno de los foros temáticos a realizarse en el primer Congreso Ciudad Joven que tiene como objetivo principal impulsar la participación de jóvenes en mesas de reflexión y diálogo. Hoy estarán Angélica Infante, Ricardo Ochoa y Moyenei, personajes de la escena roquera mexicana que conocen la problemática y el estilo de vida de chavos de hoy y de ayer.
En esta mesa se dará un vistazo al universo roquero de la banda que vive en el Distrito Federal. Se ventilarán sus necesidades, requerimientos y oportunidades; será un análisis sobre la existencia de espacios y apoyos para disfrutar de su música y de sus gustos estéticos. Y lo más importante: se plantearán estrategias para exigir respeto y tolerancia de las autoridades. Las actividades iniciarán a partir de las 12 horas en la carpa instalada en el Paseo Cultural –Aldama y Camelia, a un lado de la aún inhabilitada megabiblioteca. Intervenciones aparte, es una buena oportunidad para convivir con Ricardo, quien en su extenso historial dejó asentada su participación en grupos como Peace & Love –agrupación emblemática en el festival de Avándaro– Náhuatl y Kenny y Los Eléctricos. Por su parte, Angélica Infante es una roquera de tiempo completo desde hace más de dos décadas y en estos momentos promociona Xilonen, su nuevo material discográfico (el video de su canción Caminos del mal puede ser visto en myspace).
En el otro acceso, en Radio Chopo, se escuchará rock en vivo con She Devils, Vrede, Justina, Yogar, Amber y Pisham. Por otra parte, el tianguis estrenó programa de radio anoche en Inter/ferencia 7diez, en la frecuencia 710 de AM. Se transmitirá cada viernes a las 10 de la noche
Bossa n’ Ramones y Korn
Un disco sorprendente ha empezado a circular por los laberintos choperos: Bossa n´ Ramones, propuesta sonora que es un desafío para los puristas y para los radicales. Catorce cortes son la muestra de cómo suena el punk cobijado por ritmos latinos. La esencia punk es reafirmada por tres personalidades invitadas: Cherie Currie, ex vocalista de las míticas Runaways, se revienta Here today, gone tomorrow; Angie Bowie hace su versión de I just want to have something to do, y la desparpajada Yasmin Gate (imagen y voz de Dirty Princess, dueto español que trae de cabeza a sus paisitas) se echa Pet sematary.
Otro material chido es el devedé Korn Live at Montreux, video digital que captura la fuerza que, Jonathan Davis, Reginald Arvizu, James Shaffer, David Silveria y Brian Welch, desplegaban en la tarima de cualquier arena del mundo cuando estaban juntos. En esta ocasión, la banda comandada por Davis entrega 16 rolas rebosantes de energía y de un heavy metal contemporáneo que esquiva etiquetas: Right now, Freak on a leash, One, Y’all want a siggle y una fregona versión de Another brick in the wall, dan cuanta que el quinteto está al margen de modas pasajeras.

I've had my iPad for yon 2 months minute and I'm telling you, Steve jobs certainly has his way of converting people to be a Mac/Apple fan.
