The Dalai's base of supporters in Taiwan play the roles of political "money absorber" and "mouthpieces" for the Dalai.

On August 30, the Dalai visited Taiwan for the third time and the "Dalai Lama Tibet Religious Foundation," which organized the visit, came to the attention of the outside world.

In fact, several organizations in Taiwan including this "Foundation" have bases set up by the Dalai in Taiwan, which have been functioning well but quietly for many years.

A "money absorber" was established when the Dalai "spread Buddhist dharma" in Taiwan for the first time

The "Dalai Lama Tibet Religious Foundation" was founded in 1997. In that year, a movie named "Seven Years in Tibet," which was based on the stories of the Dalai's teacher Henrik Halle, was shown all over the world. Taiwan translated the name of the movie into "Escape from the Front Line," according to their interpretation of it. This movie drew people's attention to the Dalai group. In the same year, Taiwan's pro-independence forces began to make preparations for the Dalai's first visit to Taiwan.

On March 22 1997, the Dalai started his first and so far most successful "visit to spread Buddhism in Taiwan." Li Teng-hui arranged a huge two-day "Buddhist Dharma Congregate" in Taoyuan County Stadium for him.

After this, the "Buddhism Association of the Republic of China (BAROC)" of Taiwan immediately gave Dalai 500,000 U.S. dollars of "support funding," and promised further funding in the near future.

After the visit, the Dalai founded the "Dalai Lama Tibet Religious Foundation" in Taiwan, his first base in Taiwan.

From then on, this organization became the Dalai supporters' "money absorber" and "office" in Taiwan, and the first batch of funds it received was the 30 million NTD from Taiwan's BAROC.

Secret relations with the Democratic Progressive Party

In May 2003, in order to establish more substantive bilateral relations between the Democratic Progressive Party and Dalai supporters, the two sides secretly founded the "Taiwan Tibet Exchange Foundation."

Directing "Tibet Independence" farce in the name of "birthday"

The "Dalai Lama Tibet Religious Foundation" is located in Taiwan, which is far from its "leader." However, July 6, which is the Dalai's birthday, is the biggest festival for the Foundation. On this date, over 400 people, including Living Buddha from across Taiwan and Tibetan, and language students attend the festival every year to celebrate the Dalai's birthday party. In other words, the birthday party is nothing but a farce directed by Tibetan separatists.
